About the role
We're an established and growing business in the signage and large format print industry, looking for an experienced Print Production Manager to take ownership of our production floor. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows large format print inside out — you'll run the day-to-day output, keep quality high, and make sure orders go out on time, every time.
You'll be the person who keeps the workshop running like clockwork: managing the print workflow, operating the machines yourself when needed, and setting the standard for everyone around you.
What you'll be doing
Running the full large format print production workflow from file to finished product
Operating and managing large format printers and cutting equipment day to day
Handling RIP software and print queues confidently (Caldera and/or ONYX essential)
Colour management and profiling to keep output accurate and consistent
Prepping and checking artwork files for print, flagging issues before they cost time
Routine machine maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
Managing material stock, media and consumables so production never stalls
Overseeing and supporting the production team, setting the pace and the quality bar
Keeping quality control tight so nothing goes out the door that shouldn't
What we're looking for
Solid, proven experience in large format / wide format print production
Confident hands-on operator of large format printers and cutting machines
Strong working knowledge of Caldera and/or ONYX RIP software
Good grasp of colour management, profiles and print quality
Comfortable with artwork file prep and spotting problems early
Practical, mechanically minded — happy to maintain and troubleshoot kit
Organised, calm under pressure, and able to keep a busy floor on schedule
Natural leader who can guide a small team and lift the standard around them
What we offer
A senior role with real ownership of the production floor
Modern kit in a growing, well-run business
Steady Monday-to-Friday hours with no weekends
A friendly, down-to-earth team
The chance to shape how we work as we scale
How to apply
Send us your CV along with a short note on your large format experience — the machines and RIP software you've worked with, and the kind of production environments you've run.
