Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing bespoke dental cabinetry in a variety of settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and construction, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The position requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of projects on time and to high standards.

Duties

Fabricate custom cabinetry and furniture components according to design specifications using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
Assemble cabinet parts with precision, ensuring proper fit and finish
Install completed cabinetry securely in clients commercial premises, ensuring alignment and stability.
Operate various construction equipment safely, including saws, drills, and sanders
Assist with site preparation, including surface finishing such as painting or sealing when required
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met and expectations exceeded
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of cabinetry or similar joinery work
Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively for cutting, drilling, and finishing tasks
Strong carpentry skills with knowledge of joinery techniques for durable construction
Experience with roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is advantageous but not essential
Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with construction projects
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
