Job Summary
CETIS Engineering & Technology Services UK Ltd. is seeking an organised, technically confident, and detail-oriented Technology Project Specialist to join our team in Belfast.
As a Technology Project Specialist, you will support the planning, coordination, tracking, and implementation of technology and engineering-related projects. You will maintain project schedules and documentation, monitor milestones and deliverables, coordinate technical stakeholders, and help ensure projects progress according to agreed requirements.
You will work closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, IT professionals, operations, suppliers, and business stakeholders to coordinate project activities, track risks and issues, prepare reports, and support successful technology implementations.
This position is suitable for candidates with experience in technology projects, IT project support, technical project coordination, engineering projects, PMO, implementation, systems support, or similar environments.
What You'll Do
- Support planning and delivery of assigned technology and engineering projects.
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities across technical and business teams.
- Maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, action trackers, and implementation plans.
- Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Coordinate communication between Project Managers, engineers, IT teams, operations, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
- Organise project meetings, technical reviews, implementation sessions, and status updates.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, decisions, and action logs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, technical records, reports, and digital files.
- Track project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests.
- Highlight potential delays, resource constraints, and delivery concerns.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and management presentations.
- Support technology implementations, deployments, upgrades, migrations, and system changes.
- Assist with testing, implementation readiness, and post-deployment activities.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination where applicable.
- Coordinate project activities with technology suppliers, contractors, and authorised service providers.
- Support project resource and workload planning.
- Assist with routine project budget, purchasing, invoice, and expenditure tracking where applicable.
- Maintain project information within approved project-management and collaboration platforms.
- Support project governance, documentation, and quality requirements.
- Help maintain project templates, procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge resources.
- Monitor implementation activities and help coordinate resolution of project-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and technical delivery processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across technology project management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in technology project support, IT project coordination, engineering projects, PMO, implementation, systems support, technical operations, or a related environment is preferred.
- Strong organisational and project-coordination abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- General understanding of technology projects, implementations, systems, or engineering environments.
- Familiarity with project schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issue tracking.
- Comfortable preparing reports, spreadsheets, presentations, project plans, and technical documentation.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with project-management and collaboration platforms is advantageous.
- General familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or similar project methodologies is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, applications, infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, or software delivery is advantageous.
- Experience supporting technology deployments, migrations, upgrades, or implementations is helpful.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical information and communicate relevant project impacts clearly.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple technical teams.
- Relevant technical or project-management education, training, or equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, APM, ITIL, or similar certifications are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £2,750.00-£3,750.00 per month
