Full job description

Getlink Customs Services is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Folkestone Services, providing administrative support to the Facilities Manager. Assisting with the day-to-day management and administration of the site and health & safety activities.

Provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager.
Support with Health & Safety checks throughout the office and the Folkestone Services site.
Management of the Fire Protection System including inspection of extinguishers and testing of alarms.
Administration of the Truck & Car parking systems.
Operation of the CCTV system, including assisting any requests from external agencies.
Organisation of Health & Safety related training.
Assist with management of the parking machines.
Stock check, monitor and replenish office supplies including printer supplies.
First Aid kit monitoring and replenishing.
Liaise with on-site security & cleaning teams.
Schedule routine inspections of site & warehouse equipment.
Contractor Liaison - Facilitate and oversee the work of external contractors.
PAT testing.
Portering and Logistics including receiving deliveries, distributing parcels and relocate furniture.
Management of office access system.

Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation is desirable.
Strong administrative skills are essential.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Computer Literate with good understanding of MS Office.
Problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills.
