Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pub Chef/Cook to join our vibrant team in Llanelli. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a diverse range of pub-style dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate.
Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and portion control to optimize kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations.
Serve food efficiently to customers, ensuring timely delivery and presentation standards are met.
Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and report shortages or issues promptly.
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to uphold a safe working environment for all staff.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or pub setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Excellent meal preparation skills with attention to detail and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Good communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff and team members.
Enthusiastic about serving customers and creating a positive dining experience.
Basic culinary experience combined with a passion for developing new recipes or improving existing dishes.
