This role is for people who want more than just a job.
If you are intelligent, driven, good with people, and feel that your current role is holding you back, this could be a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career in property, with real progression and uncapped earning potential.
Many of our best people have joined us from teaching, hospitality, and other customer-focused professions. They did not come from estate agency backgrounds, but they shared one thing in common, they cared deeply about people and wanted to develop professionally.
About AR Property Partners
We are a family-run, independent estate agency based in Oxfordshire. We have deliberately built a different business model, one that rewards professionalism, long-term thinking, and people who take responsibility for their own growth.
Our two guiding principles are simple:
Care More
We genuinely care about our clients and about delivering the best possible outcomes during what can be a stressful time in their lives.
Perpetual Improvement
We expect our people to constantly develop their knowledge, skills, and professionalism. In return, we provide support, training, and clear opportunities to progress.
The role
As a Property Consultant, you will initially learn the craft of residential sales from the ground up. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, gaining exposure to every part of the process, from first enquiry through to legal completion.
Over time, and as your confidence and capability grow, you will begin to take responsibility for your own clients, manage transactions, and generate business. This is where the role becomes both professionally rewarding and financially attractive.
Day to day, the role includes:
- Speaking with buyers and sellers, understanding their needs and guiding them through the process
- Conducting viewings and attending appointments
- Progressing sales through the legal process, with full training provided
- Building trusted relationships with clients through clear, professional communication
- Actively seeking and attracting potential home sellers to the business
- Ensuring every client receives an exceptional, thoughtful experience
This is a varied role, combining time in the office with time out meeting clients.
Earnings and progression
The starting salary range is £27,500 to £40,500, depending on experience.
From day one, commission is available on business generation activities on top of your basic.
More importantly, this role offers a clear and credible progression path:
- Initial training and qualification within the first three months
- Development into a fully-fledged Property Consultant
- Responsibility for your own clients and instructions
- Promotion to Property Partner once established
- The opportunity to build and coach your own team over time, creating additional income from their success
Earnings are uncapped once you begin managing your own clients, with the potential to earn significantly more as you progress.
Who this role suits
This role will suit someone who:
- Is an exceptional communicator and confident dealing with people
- Takes pride in being professional, organised, and reliable
- Enjoys responsibility and accountability
- Wants a long-term career, not a short-term role
- Is motivated by personal growth and development
- Genuinely cares about delivering great service
You do not need estate agency experience. You do need intelligence, drive, and a strong command of written and spoken English.
Our culture
We work hard, take our responsibilities seriously, and enjoy what we do. We are a close-knit team of 12 with high standards and a shared focus on doing the right thing for our clients.
We also believe in enjoying the journey. As a team, we regularly get together outside work, whether that is meals, activities, or quarterly events, and we make a point of having fun along the way.
Next steps
If you are looking for a professional environment that will challenge you, develop you, and reward you properly over time, we would like to hear from you.
Apply with a CV and a short covering note explaining why this opportunity appeals to you and what you are looking for in your next step.
