This is a permanent, full time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx: xx} BST.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Interpretation Editor. You will content and copy edit interpretive text for gallery projects, major temporary exhibitions and displays with a primary focus on V&A East and Storehouse, working closely with curators, designers and project managers.

The Interpretation department plays an essential role in the V&A’s mission to champion art, design and creativity for all, by activating the V&A collection for its diverse audiences. It has a broad remit, comprising the development and delivery of all new interpretation across South Kensington, Young V&A and V&A East sites, encompassing permanent gallery projects and temporary exhibitions, as well as the upkeep and revitalisation of existing interpretation.

The museum holds many of the UK's national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewellery, glass, ceramics, book arts, Asian art and design, theatre and performance.
