Overview
If you are genuinely interested in joining a great team, then we are seeking a dedicated and skilled installer to join our London-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, fabricating and installing GRP products at various customers’ sites. As a customer-facing employee you will act as an ambassador for the business, displaying professionalism at all times. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail to develop their skills within a professional environment. Applicants should be organised, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Select correct material, cut and fabricate to specification, as per CAD drawings as necessary
· To work steadily and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
· Inspect product quality to ensure customer specifications are met and complete details on on-site paperwork
· Assist in loading and unloading carriers with consignments as required
· Employ correct manual handling techniques
· Carry out project installation work to a high standard
· Inspect tools/machinery for safe operation before commencing any procedure, damages to be reported immediately to the Supervisor
· Maintain good levels of housekeeping
· Follow Quality Management System (QMS) at all times
· Ensure non-conformities are reported promptly
· Ensure all appropriate PPE is worn as necessary, including face-fitted dust mask (being clean-shaven at all times)
(Employees are expected to carry out reasonable, additional duties as their manager may request from time to time)
Experience and Technical Skills Required
· Previous site/construction experience in skilled role (e.g. carpentry/steel fitting)
· Good standard of education
· Able to communicate and take direction
· First Aid certificate may be useful but not essential
· CSCS card required (ideally blue skilled worker card)
· PASMA certificate preferred
· Opportunity to completing NVQ level 2 (Skilled Worker) Certificate in GRP Occupations on the job
This role will cover sites within the London area so you should be able to easily commute into London on a daily basis. There is also a requirement to work on sites outside of the Greater London area, including the necessity to away from home at times (accommodation will be provided).
All tools and equipment will be provided.

Pay: £18.00-£22.00 per hour
