Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where your expertise will make a vital difference in the lives of critically ill patients. Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to critically ill individuals, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond swiftly to changes in health status using advanced medical equipment
Administer medications accurately according to physician orders while observing strict safety protocols
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatments, and interventions in electronic health records
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions
Respond promptly to emergency situations within the ICU, providing life support and coordinating rapid interventions as needed

Requirements

Valid nursing license with current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the relevant jurisdiction
Proven experience working in an Intensive Care Unit or similar critical care environment
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology essential for understanding complex medical conditions
Proficiency in medication administration with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Excellent patient care skills combined with compassionate communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively
