Full job description

London Construction Contractor Ltd (LCC) is a fast-growing design, construction, maintenance and development company based in Central and West London. We specialise in high-quality commercial fit-outs, refurbishments, maintenance works, small-scale developments and new-build projects across Greater London, working with developers, private investors, landlords, retailers and hospitality brands.

We are looking to recruit a proactive Builder / Handyman with experience in high-end commercial and residential projects. The role will involve a mixture of maintenance works, refurbishments, fit-outs and small construction projects across luxury retail, hospitality and residential properties throughout London. The position may involve both day and night shifts depending on project requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Builder in commercial construction or fit-out.
Skilled in multiple trades (Drylining, plastering, basic carpentry, plumbi).
Understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and H&S practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general building works including bricklaying, plastering, and basic carpentry.
Assist with structural changes and commercial fit-out installations.
Work from technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

You must have experience in folllowing works:

General maintenance.

Dry lining
Minor plumbing & Electrical repair work

Furniture fitting

Hours of Work: Generally Monday to Friday, with working hours varying depending on project requirements. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or night shifts where required.
