Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join our dynamic team and contribute to high-quality metal fabrication projects. We primarily manufacture ductwork and other components for the Heating and Ventilation industry.
Duties
The role is wide ranging and will include using the CNC plasma machine for the pattern shapes, through to forming the panels and assembling the components, fitting flanges, final sealing and job checking. You would also be involved with loading delivery vehicles as required.
A key part of the business is the manufacture of Air Handling Equipment so there will be a requirement to quickly learn and be able to manufacture these.
You will need to work on your own and as part of a team.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with lunch break from 1.00pm to 1.30pm. Overtime is made available during busier periods.
You will need to be physically fit as the job involves manual handling.
You must currently reside inside the UK and hold full right to work.

Skills & Qualifications
We would expect you to be 'time served' with the relevant City & Guilds qualifications.
You will need to be able to read client drawings and manufacture complete ductwork runs. Most shapes are CNC plasma cut but it's also necessary for you to have the ability to mark-out your own patterns as and when required.
As work allows / requires you will receive the relevant in-house mentoring and development for manufacturing the more specialist Air Handling Equipment.
Pay rate
The rate of pay will be £17.00 per hour or more depending upon skills and experience
