Part-Time Passenger Assistant

PASSENGER ASSISTANT ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

RECRUITING IN YOUR LOCAL AREA

Salary: £560 - £860 per month (route dependent)
Hours: 12.5 to 20 per week (varies by route)

Your Role

Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
To quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend.
To assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes - cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
To be patient and empathic with the passengers and be able to keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys.

What You Need

Pass an enhanced criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
Have the right to work in the UK.
First Aid Training - and willing to undergo advanced specialist medical training.

This role involves driving children (Child Workforce LW 9) and conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability (Adult Workforce LW 12).
