Job Overview
We are seeking a Sympathetic detail-oriented and efficient Claims Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and clerical skills, enabling them to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Review and process incoming claims in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Verify the accuracy of claim information and documentation submitted by clients.
- Communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for claim processing.
- Maintain accurate records of claims processed, including updates on claim status and resolution.
- Identify discrepancies or issues within claims and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency in claims handling.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies related to claims processing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to claims processing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Legal qulaification preferred but relevant experience considered
