Full job description

EPG Security Systems is a UK-based, family-owned provider of integrated security solutions, established in 1988 and headquartered in Crewe, Cheshire. The company designs, installs, monitors, and maintains systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and automatic gates for residential, commercial, and industrial clients across the UK. EPG is NSI Gold accredited, demonstrating its commitment to quality, compliance, and high standards of security system installation.

Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems across the North West:

Access Control
Video Surveillance
Intruder Alarms
Fire Alarms

Entry Requirements

Full UK Drivers Licence required
18+ due to site restrictions
Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
Electrical Installation qualifications/experience is preferred

Training to be Provided

This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Warrington centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

Train hands-on with real systems
Learn from industry experts
Complete a wide range of tasks and projects
Build evidence from your job to support your learning
Sit annual assessments at the centre
