Nuclear Business Unit

ARC are looking for Senior and Principal Safety Consultants to join our established Nuclear team in Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol and Plymouth.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Degree qualified at master's level in Engineering or Science.
Chartered status (or actively pursuing chartered status).
At least 1 years' experience in the application of formal safety engineering techniques in the analysis of complex nuclear facilities and systems, ideally in nuclear medicine, nuclear power or defence.

Desired Skills & Experience:

The following are highly desirable:

The ability and enthusiasm to support cross service tasks as well as having specialist expertise in nuclear safety.
The ability and enthusiasm to apply your first principles safety engineering knowledge in other sectors such as rail or oil and gas.
An interest or successful track record in business development and/or project management.

Personal:

Friendly, self-starting, and positive attitude.
Ability to travel in support of assignments and to liaise with clients.
Confident written and oral communication skills.
Ability and initiative to work independently as well as part of a team.
