Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive career Paraplanner who is as a minimum Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial planning, to join our financial services team in central Manchester.
The successful candidate will need to have had at least 2 years of paraplanning experience.
You will play an important role in supporting financial advisers by preparing reports, analysing client data, and assisting with the implementation of financial plans. Duties
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to support financial planning processes.
- Analyse client data and financial information to assist in developing tailored financial strategies.
- Assist with the preparation of client presentations and review documents.
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing client correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during all activities.
- Collaborate with advisers to gather necessary information and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes through organisational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum (or equivalent)
- 2 years proven experience in report writing, analysis skills, and administrative roles within financial services or related fields.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with IT systems is essential.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Knowledge of financial planning principles and experience working within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
- Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific responsibilities.
