Full job description

We are looking for an organised and professional Litigation Secretary to join our busy and supportive team in Poole Alcock's Head Office in Northwich Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced secretary, ideally with legal experience, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys providing high‑quality support to both fee earners and clients. Exceptional audio typing is one of the most important skills required for this role, and you will use it daily to help deliver an outstanding client experience whilst supporting a busy litigation team.

Key responsibilities:

Providing secretarial and administrative support to fee earners.
Preparing correspondence and legal documents using audio typing and copy work.
Managing diaries, appointments and case management systems.
Handling client enquiries and telephone calls professionally.
Maintaining electronic and paper files accurately and confidentially.

We're looking for someone who:

✅ Has previous secretarial experience, ideally within a legal or litigation environment

✅ Has excellent typing skills (minimum 50 words per minute)

✅ Has strong organisational and time management skills

✅ Has exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

✅ Has excellent communication and client care skills
