Job Overview
Artificial Grass Cambridge Ltd specialises in the installation and maintenance of artificial grass ('Astro Turf') and all types of synthetic sports surfaces for sports facilities, schools and private clients. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a hardworking, motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our small, friendly team.
This is a hands-on role for installation projects from start to finish, working alongside a labourer to deliver high-quality domestic and commercial installations. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organised and capable of maintaining a good standards of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing Small/medium installation projects at domestic and commercial sites.
- Working with a labourer to complete projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Setting out and preparing sites for installation works.
- Carrying out basic groundwork, formwork and landscaping tasks.
- Constructing sleeper planters and undertaking small slabbing projects.
- Reading layouts and working from designs and site plans.
- Operating mini diggers and other small machinery.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time while maintaining quality standards.
- Representing the company professionally on customer sites.
- Working on larger projects as part of a larger team
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Clean DBS check (essential).
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, construction or a similar industry - specific training will be given
- Experience setting out, site preparation and basic formwork.
- Ability to build sleeper planters and carry out small paving/slabbing works.
- Experience operating a mini digger and small machinery.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- A tidy approach to work and a mature, professional attitude.

Location
Based in March, PE15, applicants must be able to travel to our depot for a typical start time between 6:00am and 7:00am.
