Full job description

Prestige Fabrications Ltd are currently recruiting for a time served CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator.

The working hours are 39 hours over a 4 day week;

Monday to Thursday - 7.00am - 5.15pm

Role Description;

Prestige Fabrications Ltd are recruiting for Time Served CNC Miller - Programmer, Setter and Operator to be based in East Kilbride.

Main responsibilities;

Programming experience with Fanuc, Haas or siemens controls would be beneficial.
Setting and operating 3 Axis & 5 Axis CNC Mills.
Carrying out inspections using metrology equipment and if required training will be provided on how to use a CMM.
Working in a high precision environment to tight tolerances.
Working with a range of materials from aluminium to high temperature alloys.
Working with minimal supervision.
Offline programming experience would be beneficial, training can be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills;

Previous experience Setting/Operating 3 Axis & 5 Axis CNC Machines.
Previous experience using Soildworks/Solidcam would be advantageous.
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and design drawings.
Ability to understand and use all types of measuring equipment.

Ability to work to a high quality standard.
Ability to problem solve.

This position is permanent position.

Pay: £17.00-£22.00 per hour

CNC Machining: 6 years (preferred)
