Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning cakes that meet customer specifications while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Design and decorate cakes according to customer requests and specifications.
Prepare cake bases, fillings, and icings as required.
Ensure all decorations are applied with precision and creativity.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to fulfil large orders or special requests.
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and report any shortages.

Experience

Previous experience in food production or preparation is essential.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required.
Prior experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is an advantage.
Strong kitchen experience, including proficiency in using various baking tools and equipment.
A creative mindset with the ability to bring innovative ideas to cake designs. Join us in creating delightful cakes that bring joy to our customers!

Shifts are between the hours of 05:00 to 21:30 (8 hour shifts) and must be flexible across 7 day week.

Excellent rates of pay and benefits.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50-£17.00 per hour
