Responsibilities of our Health Care Professional team member:-

We place our residents at the heart of all that we do.
Our Health Care Professionals work part of a team, caring for the complex day to day needs of our much loved residents within our homes.
We create a safe, supportive and respectful environment.
Assisting our residents with their personal care whilst maintaining dignity and respect.
Encouraging and supporting food and drink intake.
Seeing each resident as an individual and adapting yourself to them.
Being a friend to the residents; being there to listen to them, support them and enable them to live the life they want to live.
Helping our residents to engage in activities.
Updating and maintaining our resident’s records.
Communicating with family members as well as other health care professionals.
Taking pride in our work and are committed to high standards and innovation.

Shift leader roles for experienced carers may be available offering a bonus of £170 per month.

£13.45 per hour for 18 years old and over.
Bank holidays are paid as double time.
Uniform is provided.
Enrolment into NEST pension.
The Blue Light card which gives national discounts of every day items such as clothing and groceries.

Requirements of a Health Care Professional Team member:-

To have the ability to work independently and part of a team.
Excellent communications skills.
We believe in equality for all residents and staff.
The job involves working within one of our Barrow homes or at our Aldingham and St Cuthberts Nursing Home at Aldingham village, LA12 9RT, which own transport is essential for travelling to Aldingham.
Rotational Day Positions - Hours are 37.5 a week set on a rota and usually involve 3 long shifts per week 7.45am-9pm but some night cover is required for holidays and sickness.
Permanent Night Positions - Hours are 8.45pm - 8am on a 7 nights on, 7 nights off in our Barrow homes or 4 nights on, 4 nights off basis (Monday - Sunday).
As with all our positions, the post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, paid for by us.
