Join Our Housekeeping Team
We are urgently recruiting a reliable and friendly Team Driver & Housekeeper to join our housekeeping operation at a luxury Holiday Resort. The resort is busy 52 weeks a year and this will be permanant fixed contract with no seasonal lay offs!
This is a varied, hands-on role. Part of your day will involve safely transporting members of our housekeeping team to and from the resort in a company 8 seater minibus, with the remainder of your time spent working alongside the housekeeping team preparing accommodation for arriving guests.
If you enjoy driving, like being part of a team and don't mind getting stuck in when things are busy, this could be a great role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Team Driving
- Safely transport housekeeping staff to and from the holiday resort using our 8 seat minibus.
- Complete basic daily vehicle safety checks.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Ensure staff arrive safely and on time.
Housekeeping
- Work alongside our housekeeping team preparing guest accommodation.
- Strip and remake beds.
- Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas.
- Empty bins and remove used linen.
- Replenish towels, toiletries and guest amenities.
- Help with linen distribution and collections.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged items.
- Support the wider housekeeping team during busy changeover periods.
What We're Looking For
You don't need years of housekeeping experience. Reliability, a good attitude and willingness to work as part of the team are more important to us.
You will need:
- A full UK driving licence – essential
- Maximum of 3 points on your licence
- To be comfortable driving a minibus
- To be reliable and punctual
- A positive, hardworking attitude
- Good attention to detail
- To be physically comfortable with an active role
- To enjoy working as part of a team
- Availability to work either full or part time
Previous driving, housekeeping, cleaning, hotel or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but full training can be provided.
