Required: Entry Level Tyre Fitter / Trailer Servicing Technician

This is an entry level position and existing experience is not required. We want someone who can take on board instructions, work hard and has a solid attention to detail. Two of our staff have been with us for 21 and 35 years so they will teach you everything you need to know.
As an entry level employee you will start out fitting tyres to cars, trucks and trailers. You will shadow and support our technicians as they service trailers. As you learn and become more proficient, you will take on more trailer servicing responsibilities and move onto fitting large agricultural and plant tyres.
The hours are 8.30am - 5pm. We do not work weekends.
The main duties of the role include:
- Carry out vehicle inspections and correctly assess tyre requirements
- Change tyres, fix punctures, adjust wheel alignment, and check tyre pressure monitoring systems
- Carry out trailer inspections and correctly assess servicing requirements
- Carry out tasks relating to trailer servicing requirements
- Report any stock damage or stock losses to the Parts Department
- Support senior staff performing duties
Your profile:
- Able to communicate credibly with our customers and colleagues
- Physically fit
- A willingness to learn
- Have a valid clean UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK
