Job Summary:
This role is for 25-30 hours per week including every second weekend.
Alternating early morning starts and evening shifts. Flexible but must be able to commit to at least 2 mornings and 1 evening shift. These hours will be inside of our workout schedules so you are front facing and a mixture of coaching and admin.
Purpose of the Role:
You are the Culture Manager. To set the tone of the studio and work alongside the Studio Manager to provide excellent service for our members. To lead the coaching team in delivering exceptional training experiences while driving member engagement and culture. You will be responsible for maintaining coaching standards, managing the studio’s Challenge program, supporting member retention, and ensuring the studio runs smoothly during class times.
Key Responsibilities
Team Culture & Coaching Standards
- Set the tone for professionalism, positivity, and consistency across all classes and interactions.
- Provide coaching support and feedback to the team to ensure high standards of delivery.
- Act as a go-to resource for both team and members during busy class times, ensuring smooth operations on the studio floor.
Coach Management & Development
- Build and maintain the monthly coaching roster, ensuring shifts are covered and quality is consistent.
- Oversee the onboarding and probation of new coaches, ensuring they are trained and aligned with studio values and expectations.
- Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings and development conversations with coaches to support performance and growth.
- Review and approve coach invoices, ensuring hours are accurately reported.
- Ensure all coach qualifications are up to date and filed before assigning classes or member consultations.
Studio Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day functionality of the training floor, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and operational.
- Coordinate studio updates relating to class schedules, training methodologies, special programming, and events.
- Collaborate with the Studio Manager to support social media communication, particularly around training content and Challenges.
Challenge Management
- Take full ownership of all in-studio Challenges: from planning and marketing, through onboarding scans, mid-point check-ins, and post-Challenge wrap-up.
- Ensure consistent communication and promotion begins no later than four weeks prior to Challenge launch, with studio-wide engagement starting at least three weeks out.
- Lead the team in providing ongoing support and engagement to participants throughout the duration of each Challenge.
- Manage and share scan data and progress tracking with relevant team members to enhance member support and motivation.
Member Retention & Support
- Proactively support member retention through coaching engagement, check-ins, body scans and support with training goals.
- Handle cancellation requests with care, empathy, and professionalism—aiming to understand and, where appropriate, re-engage or retain.
- Assign or provide 1:1 member consultations where training adjustments, goal-setting or extra support are needed.
Studio Presence & Admin
- Complete the majority of admin responsibilities on-site during key class times, contributing to the visibility and responsiveness of the leadership team.
- Be a consistent, welcoming presence for members and staff, helping to ensure every class block runs efficiently and with positive energy.
About you:
- At least 1 year experience in the F45 industry
- Certified level 3 personal trainer or equivalent certification
- Good level of fitness and knowledge of how to demonstrate correct form
