eXPD8 are excited to be recruiting for a Merchandising Team Leader based in the Horsham area.. You will looking after the Guildford, Haslemere, Hassocks and Dorking areas
Weekly hours: Minimum 30 hours per week.
Availability: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required to meet business coverage needs.
Team supervision: £14.25 per hour, approximately 18 hours per week.
Client merchandising: £12.85 per hour, approximately 12+ hours per week.
The Merchandising Team Leader is responsible for delivering operational plans across a defined district. This role leads day-to-day execution, supports Display Representatives, and ensures client activity is completed safely, consistently and to the required standard.
The role provides visible leadership, coaching and support to field-based colleagues, while helping the Regional Field Manager maintain strong performance, clear communication and reliable delivery
What you will do

Lead day-to-day district activity so client work is completed safely, on time and to the right standard.

Plan schedules and allocate field resource using Wixxy and other tools.

Support, coach and communicate with Display Representatives so they are confident and effective in role.

Help with recruitment, including interviews, induction, training and onboarding, identifying any gaps or support needed.

Monitor delivery, resolve issues early and escalate risks where needed.

Build strong working relationships with Client Services, central teams and the Regional Field Manager.

Keep plans, records and administration accurate and up to date.

Support new initiatives and suggest practical improvements to ways of working.

Compliance & Standards

You'll make sure everyone follows the correct processes, standards, and safety guidelines.

You'll ensure plans and schedules are accurate, realistic, and aligned with wider regional priorities.

You'll maintain strong admin standards and accurate data in all systems.
Merchandising

You'll ensure all merchandising and in‑store activity is completed correctly, following briefs and planograms where provided.

You'll ensure displays, products, and POS materials are set up properly and look great for customers.
Other Duties

You'll build positive relationships with store managers, in‑store teams, and internal support teams.

You'll support new initiatives and help your team adapt to new ways of working.
