Main Purpose:
Duties & Responsibilities:
To ensure the safe, satisfactory performance and further development of all contracts and accounts for which he is responsible including: -
- Ensure the Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance are carried out to the correct specification with regards to both frequency and quality.
- Organise and manage the mechanical and electrical maintenance schedule in compliance with current legislation and as detailed in the CAFM system.
- Organise and manage external maintenance contractors to ensure mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance schedules are carried out in accordance with current legislation and as detailed in the CAFM system.
- Client satisfaction and the quality of service provided.
- To ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are available as and when required to ensure the effective delivery of the service.
- Assist with Sub-Contractor management and monitoring.
- Be prepared to work overtime where required to support the contract.
- Generally, take ownership of and deal with all facilities related on contracted sites. This will include regular interface with a variety of contractors including but not limited to Cleaners, Ground’s maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical etc.
- Assist Supervisor with project planning These duties and responsibilities may be changed from time to time in accordance with the needs of the Company In particular the post holder may be required to provide support to holders of other posts according to changes in workload and patterns of working.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Formal technical education in Mechanical/electrical discipline.
- A Full driving licence.
- A strong working knowledge of Health & Safety principles including Risk Assessment, COSHH etc.
- Good IT/computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and the written word.
- The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectation.
- Consistently works to a high standard and looks for ways to improve current working practices and processes to meet the needs of the business.
- A commitment to continuing professional development in relation to themselves.
