Early shift: 06:00 - 14:00
Late shift: 14:00 - 22:00

Their teams are part of a national network, offering an industry leading fast-track service that delivers Argos products to customers' doors and collection points. They use technology and great teamwork to ensure we never let our customers down.

What You’ll be doing

Manage and develop the team through ongoing coaching and feedback to deliver outstanding results

Implement and embed continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site and centrally driven processes

Accountable for overseeing van resource allocation, stock inventory, and maintenance to ensure efficient operations

Respond to customer demands and volume changes by flexing operational resources to meet targets

Ensure compliance with legal and safety frameworks while being accountable for managing recruitment and headcount requirements

What makes a great Shift Manager

Leadership experience in managing a team of managers and team members within a unionised environment

Proven track record in handling multi-drop delivery and customer final mile delivery operations.

Experienced in delivering on KPI performances to meet budgetary requirements and achieve an optimum cost to serve

Possesses management skills that engage and motivate colleagues at all levels

Capable of responding to customer demands and fluctuations at pace, ensuring the efficient delivery of a first-class service
