We are seeking a reliable and proactive Weighbridge Support Operator to join our team at our Low Marnham site. This role is key to ensuring accurate weighing operations and supporting our commitment to sustainable practices.
You will work independently while also assisting colleagues, contributing to the smooth running of the site. Your core hours of work will be Monday–Friday, 6:00 am – 12:00 pm. Additionally you should be available to provide an occasional holiday shift cover for the full time Weighbridge Team. This is on 4 on / 4 off basis and paid at an enhanced rate.

Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for ensuring the site is kept secure throughout your shift
- Weighing in and out vehicles
- Completing admin work
- Log all visitors to site in the correct manner
- Directing deliveries and ensuring contractors report to appropriate manager
- Manage the weighbridge system including weights and vehicle paperwork, responding to queries from Head Office
- Recording driver / customer details and correct product
- Answering telephone calls to operate the electronic gates at High Marnham and Twycross
Requirements
- Able to work both independently but also as a team.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative support.
- Strong communication skills with excellent computer and organisations skills.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service principles.
- Familiarity with weighbridge operations or logistics is preferred.
- Ideally you will hold a First Aid certificate but full training will be given
- Ability to work part-time hours reliably, covering if required. Working shifts/ additional hours may be required during the training period.
Due to the location, you must have your own transport.
