Overview
Our well respected and renowned National Health Client provides medical advice and assessment to all patients living in the Caerleon within an established Village Medical Centre. Operating 8.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday, the service provides advice and treatment for patients that have booked appointments, or are seeking emergency appointments as and when. The service is provided by a multi-disciplinary team that includes GPs, Nurse and Paramedic practitioners, administrative and operational colleagues, all working together to provide clinical care for the patients registered in the Caerleon area of Gwent.
Duties
The service is now seeking to recruit GPs to join their workforce on a Locum basis covering ad-hoc shifts as and when. As the hours dictate the shifts available are split into mornings and afternoons throughout the week, with no weekend work required.
If you are an interested GP and are seeking daytime shifts across the week then this will very much work for you.
Job responsibilities
We are keen to recruit GPs to our team that are at any stage of their career and can work any number of hours up to full time on a contract basis. This may be colleagues who have recently completed GP training or GPs that are further along in their career and wish to develop their portfolio career or are simply looking for a new challenge in a harmonious working environment.
Generally, the role requires similar skills to those of an in-hours GP although the following additional skills are desirable but not essential (as support and learning opportunities can be provided)
