Full job description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Heating Engineer to join our growing team. A rewarding position which requires an individual to work flexibly also use their own initiative in a fast-moving environment. About The Role

Carry out gas and oil servicing
Response maintenance as and when required
Communicate with management and Quantity Surveyor
Itemize the work to be carried out in customers’ dwellings and premises
Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that the organization expects
Uphold Data Protection Policies
Travel across Northern Ireland and Ireland as required
Undertake any other duty deemed necessary by Management, to ensure the efficient running of the business

Health & Safety:

Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
Observe & follow all manual handling practices

In addition:-
- As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations properties, we will require a recent Enhanced Access NI certificate CTS will perform a Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
- Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar an individual from employment. We operate a written policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders, which is available on request and forms part of our employee handbook provided at the point of secure employment.
- We have a policy on the secure handling, use, storage and retention of disclosure information, which is available on request and is also included in our employee handbook.
- The role may also require the successful candidate to undertake work specific training on the job or externally.

Required Criteria

NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent
Must be eligible for OFTEC and On Gas safe Register
Evidence of gas courses either CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1 or others
Completed and up to date Gas qualifications and either be gas certified
Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
Full UK Driving License
Experience in construction or plumbing and heating industry

Problem Solving, Improvement, Initiative, Plumbing and Pipefitting
