Northampton

Care Assistant – Complex Care (Northampton)

£15.20 / £18 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Day and night shifts available

At Harmony Healthcare, we believe exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Healthcare Assistant to support a young boy in Northampton. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own home.

This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

About the Client

Our client is a young boy who lives at home with his mother, father, little brother and pet cat. He has has hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy with global developmental delay and significant motor symptoms.
We are looking for a Carer who will be a benefit in invigorating his life. A person who has genuine care for children with the ability to build a supporting relationship to both the child and family would be perfect for this role. We are looking for someone that will care for this client clinically but also help brighten there day.

Clinical Requirements

You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:

Child experience Mandatory
Brain injury experience
Moving and Handling
Seizure management and rescue medication
PEG / JEJ Feed and medication administration
Oral Suctioning
Personal Care
Bowel Car

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Shifts Available

We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work–life balance and financial stability.

Day shifts: 10:00 - 18:00
Night shifts : 20:00 - 08:00

What the Role Involves

• Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home • Supporting with community access and social activities

Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks
Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams

Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.

Confidence with clinical tasks (or a willingness to train)
Strong communication and reliability
Empathy, emotional intelligence and person-centred values

Compliance Requirements

Referral Bonus

£150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer
£250 for every Registered Nurse you refer

Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
