Cook/Chef
At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for a cook/chef to work in one of our residential care facilities, Taverham Grove on a part time, 31.5 hour, permanent contract, £14.45 per hour.
Week 1- Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday- 07:00am-17:30pm
Week 2- Tuesday, Thursday & Friday- 07:00am-17:30pm
Taverham Grove Care Home is located in Taverham to the west of Norwich in Norfolk. The home provides short-term, respite care and longer term support for older people, including people living with dementia.

Responsibilities of a Cook/Chef:
- Prepare residents meals and maintain a well-balanced nutritious diet (Taking into consideration special dietary needs and requirements as set out in Residents Care Plans, and residents menu choices)
- Ensure food stock supplies are monitored and deliveries are correct, and all food are temperature probed, recorded, stored correctly and stock rotated.
- Maintain a high standard of food preparation and implement the requirements set out by the Environment Health and Local Authority for the Home, the Food Safety Act 1990, and the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2005. (Personal appearance must be of an acceptable level. Uniform provided must be worn, hair covered or tied back. Sensible enclosed non-slip shoes to be worn.)
