Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances and exits to authorize authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors while maintaining strict access control protocols
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to oversee the premises and detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Implement loss prevention strategies by inspecting for theft or vandalism and ensuring adherence to security policies
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Perform routine patrols of the facility, including visual inspections of all areas, fences, and secure zones
- Document all security activities through detailed shift reports, incident logs, and surveillance records
- Assist with first aid in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to operate CCTV systems effectively for continuous monitoring of the premises
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Certification or training in first aid is highly desirable to handle medical emergencies confidently
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts while maintaining alertness
- Excellent communication skills to report incidents clearly and professionally
