The Forge is building the UK’s most connected growth ecosystem for ambitious FMCG brands.

We connect emerging food, drink and wellness brands with the retailers, corporates, service providers and industry leaders that help them grow.

The Role

This role sits at the very heart of The Forge.

Every brand and every partner should feel like they are receiving exceptional value from being part of our ecosystem.

Your role is to make that happen.

You will become the central connection point between our brands and our partners, ensuring the right introductions happen, opportunities are identified, relationships continue to grow and every member gets maximum value from their membership.

This is not a traditional account management role.

It is about building relationships, spotting opportunities before anyone else, creating meaningful introductions and making sure every brand leaves conversations feeling that joining The Forge was one of the best commercial decisions they’ve made.

If a partner could help a brand, you’ll already be making the introduction.

If two members should know each other, you’ll have already connected them.

If a brand has gone quiet, you’ll know why and re engage them.

Your success will be measured by the strength of the relationships you build and the commercial value you help create.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Success

Become the trusted point of contact for a portfolio of ambitious FMCG brands.
Build genuine relationships with founders and understand their commercial priorities, challenges and ambitions.
Conduct regular success calls to understand what each brand needs next.
Ensure every brand is actively engaging with The Forge ecosystem.
Identify opportunities that help brands grow, whether through introductions, events, partnerships or programmes.

Partner Success

Build strong relationships with The Forge’s network of commercial partners.
Develop a deep understanding of each partner’s expertise, services and ideal client profile.
Ensure partners are receiving genuine value, quality introductions and regular engagement.
Gather feedback and identify ways to continually strengthen each partnership.

Matchmaking & Introductions

Become an expert on both sides of the network.
Proactively connect the right brands with the right partners at the right time.
Facilitate introductions that create genuine commercial value.
Prepare both parties before introductions to maximise success.
Follow up after introductions to ensure momentum continues and opportunities progress.

Community & Engagement

Keep brands engaged with workshops, networking events, Meet the Buyer dinners and community initiatives.
Encourage participation across the ecosystem.
Welcome new members and ensure they quickly understand how to maximise their membership.
Identify members who are becoming disengaged and proactively re engage them.

Programme Delivery

Coordinate workshops, introductions, meetings and events.
Ensure every programme runs professionally and delivers against expectations.
Manage communications before, during and after each activity.
Track actions and ensure commitments are followed through.

Relationship Intelligence

Know what every brand is working on.
Know what every partner is looking for.
Spot opportunities before anyone asks.
Keep detailed notes and proactively identify where connections should happen.

About You

Essential Experience

Three or more years in account management, customer success, partnerships, client services or community management.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Excellent organisational skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication.
Strong CRM and administrative skills.
Comfortable working in a fast growing business where systems continue to evolve.

Six months into the role:

Every brand feels known, understood and supported.
Partners regularly receive relevant introductions and commercial opportunities.
Brands are actively engaging with partners rather than waiting to be contacted.
Members naturally introduce other businesses to The Forge because they trust the experience.
Retention is high because members can clearly see the commercial value they receive.
The ecosystem feels connected, active and constantly creating opportunities.
