Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Glass Collector / Bar Support to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, be well-organised, and demonstrate a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of each shift
Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including hygiene standards

Requirements

Previous experience in bar / hospitality environments is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Personal presentation that reflects a professional image of the establishment
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
