Massage Therapist & Skin Specialist
The Health Suite is seeking an experienced Massage Therapist & Skin Specialist to join our established multidisciplinary clinic on a self-employed or employed basis.
This role is ideal for a confident, skilled and professional therapist who has strong experience in massage therapy and advanced skin treatments and is comfortable working independently while being part of a wider multidisciplinary healthcare and aesthetics team.
We are particularly looking for someone who can combine therapeutic massage, lymphatic techniques and facial treatments to provide a high-quality, results-focused experience for our patients and clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality massage, facial and advanced skin treatments with a strong focus on client care, safety and outcomes
- Provide a range of massage treatments, including:
- Sports massage
- Deep tissue massage
- Swedish / therapeutic massage
- Manual or brazilian lymphatic drainage
- Natural facelift / facial massage techniques
- Pregnancy massage (desirable but not essential)
- Assess clients appropriately and tailor massage treatments according to their individual needs, lifestyle and presenting concerns
- Deliver a range of advanced skin treatments, including:
- Medical-grade facials
- Advanced laser skin treatments - training will be given for the rigth candidate
- HydraFacial treatments
- Microneedling
- Chemical skin peels
- Dermaplaning
- Conduct detailed skin consultations using diagnostic skin analysis technology
- Create bespoke treatment plans and recommend appropriate medical-grade skincare products
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about the clinic's professional and medical-grade skincare ranges and confidently recommending appropriate homecare
- Show a proactive interest in building, maintaining and retaining a loyal client base
- Deliver an exceptional client experience that encourages repeat bookings and long-term relationships
- Work independently within your scope of practice, managing your own clinics and client journey
- Work professionally alongside the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, treatment documentation and professional conduct
- Undertake additional training in new massage, facial and skin treatments as the clinic's services continue to develop
Essential Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant professional experience
- Proven hands-on experience in professional massage therapy
- Experience delivering sports massage and/or deep tissue massage
- Experience in Brazilian or manual lymphatic drainage
- Proven experience delivering facial and advanced skin treatments
- Good knowledge of skin health, common skin concerns and appropriate treatment pathways
- Confident carrying out consultations, assessing client needs and developing appropriate treatment plans
- Comfortable working autonomously within a professional clinical environment
Required Qualifications & Training
- Recognised Level 3 or above qualification in Massage Therapy
- Appropriate qualification in Sports Massage or equivalent
- Recognised qualification/training in Brazilian or Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Recognised Level 3 or above Beauty Therapy / Facial / Skin qualification, with additional advanced skin qualifications where appropriate
- Relevant training and competency in treatments offered, which may include:
- Microneedling
- Chemical peels
- Mesotherapy
- Dermaplaning
- HydraFacial
- Training in natural facelift massage, facial sculpting or advanced facial massage techniques is highly desirable
- Pregnancy massage qualification is desirable but not essential
- Competency in advanced skin consultation and diagnostic analysis technology, or willingness to undertake training
- Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) or willingness to obtain
- Current professional indemnity insurance for self-employed practitioners
