We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator and Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities ( Press Brake )
- Operate press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the appropriate tooling and settings required for production.
- Perform fabrication tasks, including grinding, welding, and assembly as needed.
- Maintain tooling and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition and calibrated correctly.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- Utilise hand tools effectively for various tasks related to metalworking.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within the fabrication industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work and related processes such as welding and grinding is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using hand tools and understanding tooling requirements for various projects.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable laser operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various tasks that support production and maintenance activities. This position requires a proactive individual who is able to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Apply knowledge of setting up and running a Laser cutting machine.
Use job route cards and material nests to plan production through machine.
Ability to fault find any issues encountered through to rectification.
Carry out pre-start checks and maintenance on machine
Ensure the quality of the cut meets the required specifications and tolerances by inspection of parts
Use initiative and work without direct supervision however report immediately to line supervisor any equipment, material, project, environmental or health and safety issues that may arise.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.
*Setting up and preparing machines before and after production
*Overseeing the running of machines
*Ensuring products meet specification and match technical drawings
*Inspecting and maintaining quality control before and after production
*Maximise production on all machinery by organising and managing time well
*Carryout maintenance on machines as instructed

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
· Minimum of 5 year plus experience of setting and operating Laser cutter
· Must have previous sheet metal work experience
· Ability to read and understand technical drawing
· Good level of Maths & English required to read/calculate technical drawings.
· press experience preferred
· Counterbalance FLT licence essential.
· Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
· Forward thinking, proactive and able to work using own initiative or as part of team.
· Ability to work overtime when required for the needs of the business.
· Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
· Excellent attendance and timekeeping essential
Work hours
Monday to Friday 7 till 4:30
Breaks:
First : 9:30 Till 9:50
Lunch : 12:20 Till 12:50
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
