About The Role

Job Role – Vehicle Appraiser

Salary – £14.11 per hour

Location – BCA Measham

Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

Type of Employment – Permanent

Main purpose of the role

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for cars?

Join BCA as a Vehicle Appraiser and become part of the UK’s largest used vehicle remarketing business. In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing vehicles for sale by producing accurate, high-quality condition reports and images for our online platform.

Using our in-house systems, you’ll assess vehicles against BCA grading and cost standards—ensuring every vehicle is represented accurately for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Carrying out detailed vehicle appraisals
Capturing high-quality vehicle images using mobile devices
Producing accurate, costed condition reports in line with BCA standards
Meeting daily targets for inspections and imaging
Keeping up to date with customer standards and inspection processes
Recommending value-enhancing services where appropriate
Safely moving vehicles around site in line with all safety procedures
Maintaining a safe working environment and following health & safety guidelines

To be successful, you’ll bring the following with you:

Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in an active, outdoor role
A team player who can also work independently
Positive, proactive attitude
Interest or experience in the automotive industry
