The Eggfree Cake Box is the UK’s largest specialist cake retailer specialising in the production and distribution of high-quality Egg-Free celebration cakes across the UK. This is a dynamic and fast-growing business. Cake box Nuneaton has been open since April and joined the CakeBox franchise.
Role Summary:
Back Of House Team Member
We are looking for like-minded, enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join this exciting project. It is a fast-paced environment but a fun place to work. This is more of a factory-run operation rather than an artistic cake-making environment. Experience of working in a kitchen environment could be beneficial- further training will be introduced.
Need to be fully flexible.
Main Responsibilities
· Working with a team of cake decorators in conjunction with our front-of-house team members to maintain the Cake Box standards
· Filling cake sponge with fresh cream and spread so they are ready to decorate
· Learning new decorating skills alongside experienced decorators
· Learning how to write messages on cakes for customer orders
· Decorating cakes and slices for display and filling Display Fridges
· Decorating customer orders
· End of day Kitchen cleaning with all staff, including mopping the kitchen floor.
