Storekeeper / Materials Management Assistant

37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday between the hours of 07:00 - 16:00)

Fixed term for 12 months (Secondment Cover)

Closing Date: Wednesday 2nd September 2026

To support all service areas within the Trust to receive and issue the correct goods, products or equipment purchased in a timely way through an effective Supply Chain service including receipts, distribution and to lead the rollout of the Materials Management Service across the Trust and support going forward.

Rollout of the Materials Management service across the Trust and ongoing support to maintain agreed stock levels across the service, tackling product issues, stock issues and liaising with other areas to support this.
Receives goods to the warehouse and ensures that these goods are handled safely and by appropriate means e.g. transfer of goods by a trolley/truck (if required), to the correct stores bin location and recording this in line with appropriate ‘booking in’ procedures.
Moves, handles and stores goods and equipment in accordance with agreed stores procedures and in line with health and safety guidance.
