Full job description

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time office assistant position, to help with our ever increasing workload and company expansion.

We are a small and friendly team of 10 people, working in the plumbing and heating sector based in Guildford, focused on delivering excellent customer service.

Day to day tasks involve, but are not limited to:

- Answer incoming calls (via VOIP desktop phone);

- Respond to emails and add jobs to our operational systems;

- Allocate jobs to engineers and organise materials for jobs;

- Respond to customer enquiries;

- Provide support to other team members, as requested.

- Invoicing and other administrative duties as required by the company

The role is office based in our new office (Unit 2, Midleton Road Industrial Estate, Guildford). Working from home is possible (1 day a week), but not guarantee depends on business needs.

The ideal candidate must be proactive, self-motivated, hard working, dedicated and reliable. If you do not possess these skills, please do not apply. The successful candidate will be required to work under their own initiative, so organisational skills and the ability to prioritise at all times are essential. Knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry and operational systems is a huge advantage, but not essential.
