Nestled in beautiful Highampton, Beaworthy, our home is powered by a passionate team of nurses, carers, physiotherapists, rehabilitation professionals, hydration assistants and activity coordinators who are committed to delivering exceptional care and rehabilitation outcomes.

We're now looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Deputy Manager to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse who is passionate about clinical excellence, leadership and delivering outstanding resident-centred care.What You'll Be Doing.....Working alongside the Registered Manager, you'll play a key role in the leadership and day-to-day operation of the home. This full-time position consists of 40 hours per week, comprising two 12.5-hour clinical shifts and two 7.5-hour supernumerary management shifts.

You will provide visible clinical leadership, support high standards of care, oversee clinical governance and help ensure the smooth running of the service.

You Will:

Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home.
Lead and support nursing and care teams to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.
Act as a clinical role model and promote best practice throughout the service.
Provide oversight of complex clinical care, including enteral feeding, tracheostomy care, non-invasive ventilation, epilepsy management and other specialist interventions.
Maintain oversight of delegated clinical tasks undertaken by appropriately trained staff across the home.
Monitor care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation to ensure they are accurate, personalised and up to date.
Complete audits and support quality improvement initiatives.
Support compliance with CQC regulations and organisational standards.
Work collaboratively with NHS professionals, therapists and external agencies.
Support occupancy, admissions and resident assessments.
Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
Contribute to incident investigations, action plans and service improvements.
Promote a positive culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For...

Registered Nurse (RN or RNLD) with an active NMC PIN.
Previous experience in a Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager or similar leadership role.
Experience working within a nursing home, care home, hospital or specialist care setting.
Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and clinical governance.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience overseeing complex clinical care and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of best practice.
Confident in care planning, risk assessment and clinical documentation.
Ability to motivate, support and develop others.
Positive, proactive and solution-focused approach.
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional resident-centred care.
