Full job description

Location: Home based, with occasional travel to development sites
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 per annum

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive New Homes Officer to join our Development team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of new homes across the country, helping ensure smooth handovers from development into operational management.

You'll work closely with New Homes Managers, Development Managers and stakeholders to coordinate documentation, manage information and support the successful transition of new developments into the business. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Support the New Homes team with administrative and coordination activities across a portfolio of development projects.
Maintain accurate, accessible and version-controlled project documentation using SharePoint and other systems.
Coordinate the collection, management and distribution of key scheme information and documentation to stakeholders across the business.
Ensure information required for new home handovers is provided accurately, in the correct format and within agreed timescales.
Manage stakeholder communications, building strong relationships across development and operational teams.
Support governance processes and ensure documentation complies with internal requirements.
Raise purchase orders and undertake other administrative activities to support the effective operation of the team.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
Act as an ambassador for Anchor, promoting our values and commitment to delivering high-quality homes for our residents.

About You

You'll be a well-organised administrator or coordinator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You'll enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and take pride in ensuring information is accurate, accessible and delivered on time.

You'll Bring:

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience coordinating information and documentation across multiple stakeholders.
Strong IT skills, including experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive approach and a positive, solution-focused mindset.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Experience supporting projects or working within a project environment.
Understanding of procurement processes would be advantageous.
Knowledge of housing development, Homes England, GLA requirements or social housing would be beneficial.

Experience of new developments would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Project Management qualification desirable.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional business travel.
