Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our dynamic financial team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s credit accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Your expertise in financial processes, data entry, and analysis will help optimize cash flow and support our overall financial health. Responsibilities

Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of overdue payments
Conduct regular analysis of accounts receivable data to identify delinquent accounts and prioritize collection efforts
Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, or telemarketing techniques to follow up on outstanding invoices
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities using accounting software
Responsible for issuing invoices and checking customer invoices and issuing credit ntoes if needed
Collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations
Prepare detailed reports on account status, payment trends, and collection progress for management review
Support data entry tasks related to invoicing, payment processing, and account updates with precision and attention to detail

Qualifications

Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance-related role within the financial services industry
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately
Familiarity with accounting software and systems used for credit management and data entry
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with clients professionally
Knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice reconciliation procedures
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in telemarketing or customer outreach is a plus
