Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills in using hand and power tools, and experience in horticulture or gardening. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in diverse environments, contributing to the successful completion of projects while gaining valuable industry experience. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople (e.g. bricklayers, carpenters, plumbers, roofers) with tasks as directed.
- Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment around the site.
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris, setting up fencing, and sweeping areas.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and mortar.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, barriers, and signage (with proper training).
- Operate basic tools and machinery (subject to training and certification).
- Follow health and safety regulations and report hazards to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation on-site.
- Assisting with general site clearance and organisation to maintain a safe working environment
- Supporting team members with various labouring duties as required across multiple projects
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Practical knowledge of using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with irrigation systems and maintenance tasks is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and safety compliance
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a team environment

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
