Experienced Coach Driver – Truro

£15.50 per hour

Join First Bus and FlixBus as they expand their long-distance coach services from Truro. We are seeking skilled and experienced PCV Coach Drivers who enjoy life on the road, operating modern vehicles and providing passengers with safe, reliable, and comfortable travel throughout the UK. This opportunity is ideal for drivers looking for secure, ongoing employment, a variety of routes, and a more rewarding driving experience away from the stop-start nature of conventional local bus services.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll earn £15.50 per hour, over £30.000, with a permanent 39-hour contract and the opportunity to drive modern, comfortable coaches on varied long-distance routes across the UK. The role offers a more relaxed pace of driving with open-road journeys, scenic routes across the country, and a better balance away from the pressures of busy urban service work. You’ll also become part of a supportive local team within a growing national coach operation.

The Role

As a Coach Driver, you’ll safely deliver reliable and comfortable long-distance journeys for customers travelling across the UK. You’ll operate modern coaches on a variety of routes, providing a professional and friendly customer experience throughout every journey. This role offers real variety, taking you through towns, cities, and scenic rural areas as part of a structured rota.

What we need from you:

Hold a valid PCV licence
Proof of your Right to Work in the UK
You must be at least 18 years of age
Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Flexibility to work on a rota / shift basis. (There are a variety of shifts which may consist of early mornings (starting 03.30hrs) / late nights (finishing at 02:00hrs) / weekends.)
