Experienced Baker – Lavender’s Bakery

Location: Cornwall Salary: £13.30 to £14.30 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Permanent, Minimum 30 hours per week

About Lavender's Bakery

Lavender’s Bakery has been a proud part of Cornwall’s baking history for decades. We are a traditional, family-run business that cares deeply about making proper Cornish pasties, saffron buns, and high-quality bread. We use time-honoured methods and local ingredients because we believe in doing things right.

We are currently looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. If you are tired of factory-style production lines or exhausting six-day rotas with 1 am starts, we offer a better way to work. We value your skills and want you to have a life outside of the bakery.

The Role

You will be completely hands-on, making sure our shops are stocked with fresh, quality bakes every morning.

Weighing ingredients, mixing doughs, hand-shaping, and baking a range of breads, rolls, and traditional Cornish goods.
Keeping our high quality standards consistent on every single shift.
Working alongside a friendly team, while being confident enough to run your own section independently.

What You Need

At least 2 years of commercial bread making or baking experience.

Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
