Main Purpose of the Role

Enhanced Pupil Support Assistant (Fixed Term until 11 April 2027) - PKC14091
£11,719 - £12,750 (17.1 Hours per week, Term-time only)
Fairview School, Perth

Fairview School is located on the Perth Academy / Viewlands Primary School campus and is the Authority’s school for children and young people with severe and complex additional support needs aged 3-18.

We seek an experienced and enthusiastic pupil support assistant with experience of supporting children and young people with complex additional support needs.

Your role will involve supporting individuals and small groups of children and young people within a class to develop their skills for life, work and learning. Pupils require support with developing communication and regulation skills and often require support with personal care and eating and drinking to promote independence.

You will be supporting pupils to be the best they can be across a range of contexts for learning and preparing them for life after school.

Time will be spent outdoors and in the community, including swimming.

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this post.

Skills & Experience Required

Excellent communication, resilience and team working skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to use your initiative and be flexible and reactive to pupils needs.
