About the Role:

We are looking for a Principal Business Analyst who can take ownership of complex initiatives and provide clear direction across business requirements, process improvement, and solution delivery. You will work with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and operational specialists to understand business needs and translate them into actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis Leadership: Lead business analysis activities across complex projects, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements Management: Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and document detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Process Improvement: Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational complexity, and enhance customer and employee experiences.
Solution Evaluation: Work closely with technical teams to assess proposed solutions and ensure they address the underlying business requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, project teams, clients, and subject matter experts. Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Team Mentoring: Provide guidance to business analysts and contribute to improving analytical standards, documentation practices, and delivery methodologies across the organisation.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 6+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, transformation, technology delivery, or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience handling complex projects.
Qualifications: A degree or equivalent professional experience in business, information systems, technology, finance, operations, or a related field is preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse complex information, identify business problems, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical recommendations.
Tools: Experience with business process modelling, requirements management, data analysis, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, or comparable business analysis tools.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex business and technical concepts clearly.
Mindset: You are commercially aware, pragmatic, detail-oriented, and comfortable making recommendations in situations where requirements or priorities may change. You know when detailed analysis is required and when a practical solution is the better choice.
Pay: £5,300.00-£6,200.00 per month
