We are seeking an Information Assistant to join the Management Information Systems (MIS) team within Education and Learning.

As a first point of contact for schools and other stakeholders, you will provide high-quality support across a range of applications and processes.

Working within a small team, your primary role will be to provide first-line support for SEEMiS, our main management information system, and other systems used across the service such as EVOLVE and Groupcall Messenger.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital support service for schools.

As an Information Assistant you will:

Provide first-line support for SEEMiS, Groupcall Messenger and other systems
Provide second-line support for EVOLVE
Assist with the processing of Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests
Respond to routine and operational requests for data and information

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this post.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have:

Good communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent data skills and the ability to process and present large amounts of data
Excellent skills across a range of MS365 applications, particularly Excel
The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a small team
The ability to prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines
